Nearly 3 years ago, I embarked on an exciting entrepreneurial journey.
Launching a business development and growth consulting firm to help agencies.
We got off to a great start in year 1.
We…
Built a team,
Built a brand,
Built systems and processes.
That led to a doubling in size in year 2.
For year 3, we projected 60% growth.
But thus far, in 2023, revenue has been pretty flat.
The economic environment is contributing factor.
But that’s not the entire story.
We’re reaching the ceiling for what we do and to whom we do it.
Right now, it’s a successful lifestyle business.
But I have bigger aspirations.
We’ve climbed the mountain and reached the top.
But as we looked over the peak, we saw another mountain to climb.
Thus, we face a choice.
Do we grow horizontally, expanding to new audiences?
Or do we grow vertically, deepening our connection with our existing audience?
It’s an exciting time with limitless possibilities.
Reaching a plateau isn’t a failure.
It’s an opportunity.
It’s a chance to evaluate, recalibrate, and aim even higher.
The growth of a business is never a straight line upward.
There will be peaks, valleys, and unexpected paths, much like life.
Maybe you’re…
Finding it difficult to move further up the corporate ladder.
Experiencing stalled fitness or health goals.
Struggling to expand or diversify your skills.
Feeling stuck in your relationships.
Having difficulties advancing to greater financial security.
These peaks can often feel like barriers.
But they represent opportunities for reflection, reassessment, and new growth strategies.
Every mountain top is within reach if you just keep climbing.
