For most of my life, I chased what I thought was success.

By: Christian Banach

For most of my life, I chased what I thought was success.

From my earliest memories, success was painted in the bold colors of wealth and fame.

It was a picture handed down to me through the media and our society.

But as I climbed the financial and social status ladder, I saw cracks in the canvas.

This version of success came with stress, pressure, and a loss of privacy.

It felt like a constant storm, impossible to shelter from.

I observed others around me, rich and famous, seemingly trapped by their achievements.

Their days were filled with long hours away from what truly mattered.

The scrutiny and judgment from the public and media were relentless.

The barrage made even the simplest joys hard to experience.

Was this the treasure I had been seeking?

Over time, a new thought has emerged.

What if success wasn’t about the destination but the journey itself?

What if the true adventure wasn’t reaching a specific goal but the experiences along the way?

The friendships forged.

The new passions discovered.

Armed with this new perspective, I set out on a different path.

Yes, I have goals for my business and personal life.

But these goals no longer define my success.

The real magic is in the journey.

Overcoming challenges.

Finding joy in the process.

Embracing the freedom to follow my passions.

These have become my new measures of success.

I’ve learned that not every day will be filled with triumph.

But moving forward through the ups and downs makes me feel truly successful.

Success is no longer about adhering to societal norms.

It is about being true to myself and reveling in the adventure of life.

I share this to remind you.

Find your own path, treasure the journey, and discover what success means to you.

Success is not the key to happiness.

Happiness is the key to success.

Success Is Not The Key To Happiness, Happiness Is The Key To Success.
